What happens when you combine a state-of-the-art illumination system with an exclusive FireDot reticle? You get the new Leupold VX-R rifle scope and the ability to see your game in a bold new way. Featuring proprietary powered fiber optic technology, the Leupold VX-R scope delivers true daylight-capable illumination (easily seen in bright light settings), as well as optimal light transmission and reticle contrast in low-light situations to extend precious minutes at daybreak or at the end of the day. A leupold through and through, the new Leupold VX-R is everything you expect in an illuminated scope from America's Optics Authority. The Leupold VX-R rifle scope uses Leupold-exclusive Motion Sensor Technology (MST). A single touch of the button activates the illumination, offering eight different intensity settings including a high/low indicator. The exclusive FireDot reticle will automatically switch to "stand-by-mode" after five minutes of inactivity, then reactivate whenever the rifle is moved. This eliminates the need for excess movement reaching for buttons, while extending battery life (the VX-R is powered by a readily available CR-2032 coin cell battery).

The VX-R rifle scopes are available in Leupold's exclusive FireDot Reticle System in your choice of FireDot Duplex, FireDot Circle, Ballistic FireDot and FireDot 4. Once activated, the dot within the reticle illuminates with bright, sharp definition, while the rest of the reticle is non-illuminated. This combination leads your eye naturally to the center aiming point and makes target acquisition quick, precise and simple.

• Ballistic FireDot designed for extended range shooting when fast target acquisition is critical. The ballistic FireDot is ideal for varmint, antelope and longer shots on big game. Extra-bright center point dot.

• FireDot Circle designed specifically for fast-moving targets, including dangerous game, pigs and even turkeys. The circle with an extra-bright center point dot is sized specifically to help you get on target faster when speed is critical.

• FireDot 4 is the bold post with extra-bright centerpoint dot helps drive the eye to the center of the reticle and keeps the upper field of view free of obstructions. Aids in fast target acquisition.
