These binoculars feature multicoated lens elements which reduce glare to a minimum and provide exceptionally high light transmission as well as neutral color rendition of the subject in view. Thanks to the roof prisms with phase correction coating the user can enjoy an image with high detail rendition and rich in contrast, even in poor light conditions. Available with a 8x or 10x magnification these new Minox BV binoculars are the perfect low cost alternatives for nature observers, hunters and birders.
Featuring an exceptionally slim design helped by the use of modern roof prisms and with an excellent grip thanks to their rubber armoring, the binoculars rest comfortably in your hands. The sturdy body ensures the reliable operation of the internal optical system and precision mechanism which are fully protected against dust and water through an innovative sealing technology. The Minox BV 8x42 BR and the Minox BV 10x42 BR binoculars are water-tight preventing the penetration of moisture down to a depth of 16.4 feet. The nitrogen gas filling also provides permanent protection against internal corrosion and prevents fogging of the optical surfaces, even with extreme temperature changes.
With their extended exit pupil and twist-up rubber eyecups with click stops the BV line can also be adjusted very well to the individual requirements of people wearing glasses.
Minox BL Comfort Bridge Binoculars
The goals of Minox development engineers are to identify trends and respond to these with innovative products. Minox has accomplished this goal with the new Minox BL 8x44 and the Minox BL 10x44 binoculars. Featuring an Open Bridge these BL binoculars are extremely comfortable to handle and offer the user an excellent grip, even when conditions get tough. The Open Bridge also enables a safe and reliable operation, even single-handed, allowing more freedom to move when out observing nature or hunting.
Beyond this, the new BL line offers a field of view that has been increased by 16%. Moving objects can now be captured even faster and more reliably.
The letter "L" stands for "Light", and this is ensured through the sturdy rubber-armored body of polycarbonate and the ergonomic design. Thanks to a sophisticated sealing technology the new BL binoculars are also watertight down to five meters. Nitrogen filling prevents fogging of the optical surfaces, even with severe temperature changes.
The powerful light-gathering optical systems feature multicoated lens elements that guarantee the best optical performance and neutral color rendition of the object in view. These exciting and well-priced binoculars once again combine the high quality of Minox optics with the brand new lightweight rubber-armored body being used that has proven so popular on the current range. The new Minox BL binoculars feature a new design of rubber armoring that provides an excellent grip in all weather conditions. The central focus wheel is also rubber armored to ensure ease of use and grip, even with gloves on. Fully waterproofed to a depth of 16.4 ft. and Nitrogen gas purged to prevent internal fogging during quick temperature changes.
The fully multicoated optics and phase-corrected prisms produce excellent image clarity and brightness, already proven and tested in the current "BL" range. While making use of a lightweight polycarbonate body, which itself undergoes the same rigorous durability testing procedures of the top-end Minox BR binoculars, the BL's still retain the all-metal eyepiece assemblies which ensure that the twist-up eyecups stay in place at all times but can be easily adjusted so that anyone wearing spectacles still has a full field of view.
The successful Minox BL binocular line has been expanded to include two real light giants for game and nature observation in moonlight or early dawn. Reasonably low in weight, maintaining the established BL optical quality coupled to an attractive price are the main elements of the BL line that the Minox engineers have put into the new Minox BL 8x56 BR and the Minox BL 13x56 BR binoculars.
With tough rubber armoring and an ergonomic design the new Minox BL binoculars are comfortable and convenient to hold, this being helped in particular by their relatively low weight. The new metal focusing wheel with ridged rubber armoring provides a good grip and is easy to use with a finger-felt marker for the infinity setting. Thanks to this feature those out observing game can find their subject quickly from long distances, even in twilight, by just feeling the focus setting.
