Trijicon makes several premium quality scopes that are all based on the use of tritium to illuminate the reticle. The ACOG (Advanced Combat Optical Gun) sight is the best known of the Trijicon line of scopes and has been a mainstay in law enforcement optics for several years. A modified version of the ACOG is now standard issue for US Special Forces including the Green Berets, Navy Seals and Army Rangers. Simply said, the ACOG is built to take a pounding!!
